Plus Size Beauty
The beautiful Penelope Benson appears in the April 2013 issue of Cosmopolitan Australia. The editorial titled “Opposites Attract” is by photographer Richard Freeman.
At 5′ 10.5″ and wearing a size 10 dress, Penelope is definitely one of the smaller plus models but well within the industry defined size boundaries of plus size models.

Laura Wells, a perennial favorite of the industry, is represented by Wilhelmina and BGM agencies among others. This Australian beauty has a curvaceous body that puts her in a class by herself. Whether modeling swimwear,lingerie, or dresses for all seasons, she has consistently produced some of the best work out there, including some lively runway stunners.

Julie Henderson is a lovely plus size model who is making moves in the fashion industry. At 6’1″ and a little under 200 lbs. Ms. Henderson is a perfect example of a well proportioned model, the kind designers love. Her athletic background(former Notre Dame round baller) and her personal desire to maintain her athletic shape , contribute to the sultry loveliness you see here.

Joanne Borgella is a plus model and singer who was the first winner of Mo’Nique’s Fat Chance pageant in 2005 and was a contestant in season seven of American Idol.
Joanne was one of four Wilhelmina models recently featured in a Lookbook collaboration between the Wilhelmina Curve division and Gabrielle of Gabifresh.com. The models were all styled by Gabi.
Joanne has worked for Ashely Stewart, Macy’s, Kohl’s, Torrid, and Proctor & Gamble, among others.
Valerie Lefkowitz, a plus model working out of Baltimore, Maryland has been modeling since 1996, when she was 15 years old. She started with the Wilhelmina agency and is still represented by them in addition to being represented by Ford Models. Ms.Lefkowitz has worked with clients such as Lane Bryant, Dress Barn, David’s Bridal and Target, Fruit of the Loom, to name a few.

Lizzie Miller is the plus size model who is currently best known for her
appeareance in the September 2009 issue of Glamour magazine on page 194.
That photo set the fashion industry on fire as women( and men) around the
planet commented on her un-air brushed photo and the degree to which Ms.
Miller felt comfortable with her appearance.

Jordan Tesfay was the first black plus size model for Covergirl appearing in a national ad campaign. She is currently represented by Wilhelmina’s Curve Division.
