Full Figured Fashion Week™ is looking for experienced runway models for it’s New York City shows & events during the month of June 2012. The deadline to submit is Friday, February 24, 2012.

The much anticipated New York Fashion Week runs from September 8-15, showing the Spring 2012 Collections at Lincoln Center, NYC.
Designer Zac Posen returns to New York where he sent a “not as plus size as she used to be”, Crystal Renn down the runway for his Z Spoke line on September 11, 2010. This year his show is slated for Sunday, September 11, 2011.
This year, there will be a lot of live streams to check out so it should be more entertaining for those who can’t attend in person.

A DEVOE SIGNATURE EVENT PRODUCTION
There is still time to enter the “Face of Full Figured Fashion Week™” Cover Model Search, but time is running out. Full Figured Fashion Week™ will run June 16-18, 2011 in New York City. The contest will end on March 31, 2011. The winner will be announced on April 15, 2011. For details on prizes, contest rules and regulations, and everything else you need to know to enter, go their Cover Model Search page and read all about it.
Nicole Esperanza was named the winner of the PLUS Model Magazine/City Chic Model Search. Ms. Esperanza will be flown to NYC for a shoot with PLUS Model Magazine and her images will be seen on the City Chic website. In addition she will receive a one year contract with Natural Models Management and an invitation to walk in Full Figured Fashion Week, June 2011.
The 2nd and 3rd runner ups are: Karyn Johnson and Kelle Coleman. They will both receive a gift certificate from City Chic, the number one Australian plus size brand.

At 1:00pm EST, February 17, 2011 OneStopPlus.com launched it’s virtual fashion show online which was also broadcast live from a Jumbo-Tron in Times Square, New York. On the ground a large crowd watched the 10 minute presentation including plus-size model Lizzie Miller, the new brand ambassador for OneStopPlus.com and several top company and industry representatives.
The internet simulcast aired globally including OneStopPlus.com locations in the U.S., France, U.K., Belgium, and Sweden. The internet locale featured an online chat service where viewers gathered long before the broadcast to meet, greet, and discuss the event. The chat line was open during the runway show and viewers watched and commented during and long after the show was over. The bonus here was that the person chatting could have been across the street or across the pond.
The show’s only model was the lovely Robyn Lawley, who modeled 30 looks from “Collection by OSP”, a premiere brand created exclusively for the fashion show.
